Returns & Refunds Policy
Last updated: 11 August 2026
There are two separate protections here: your legal right to change your mind within 14 days, and our guarantee against misprints, damage, or defects. They work differently, so we've kept them apart below.
A. Changed your mind? (14-day cooling-off period)
If you're a consumer in the UK or EU, the law gives you 14 days from the day after you receive your order to cancel it, for any reason — you don't have to explain why.
How to cancel
Email us at hello@lowandbeholdco.com with your order number and a clear statement that you want to cancel — you can use the model cancellation wording below, or just tell us in your own words.
To: hello@lowandbeholdco.com
I/we [*] give notice that I/we [*] cancel my/our [*] contract for the purchase of the following goods [describe the item(s) and order number], ordered on [date], received on [date].
Name of consumer(s):
Address of consumer(s):
Date:
[*] delete as appropriate
Once you've told us, you then have 14 days to send the item back to us. It should be unused and in the condition you received it — you can unbox and inspect it as you would in a shop, but if it comes back visibly worn or used beyond that, we may deduct an amount reflecting the reduction in its value.
Who pays for the return, and what you get back
You're responsible for the cost of posting the item back to us. Once we've received it (or you've given us proof of postage), we'll refund the price you paid for the item plus the standard delivery charge on your original order (not any express/upgraded delivery you may have paid extra for), within 14 days, back to your original payment method via Stripe.
What this right doesn't cover
This cooling-off right applies to personal purchases by consumers, not to items bought for a business, and it doesn't extend the fault guarantee below — it's a separate, no-reason-needed right that simply expires after 14 days from delivery.
B. Misprints, damage, or defects
Separately from the cooling-off period above — and without any 14-day limit on this one — if your item arrives faulty, damaged, or with a printing error, we'll sort it out with a free reprint or a full refund, whichever works best for you.
How to report it
Email hello@lowandbeholdco.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos showing the problem — for a damaged item, please include a photo of the packaging too, as this helps us resolve it with our production partner. We'll confirm a free reprint or refund once we've had a look.
This guarantee is in addition to, and doesn't affect, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which require goods to be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described — those rights don't expire after 30 days.
What isn't covered
- Ordering the wrong size or colour yourself, once the 14-day cooling-off window has passed.
- Normal wear and tear, or damage that happens after delivery.
- Minor colour variation between how a design looks on your screen and how it looks printed — screens vary, and this isn't a fault.
- Normal characteristics of a printing or manufacturing technique (for example, slight texture or stitching variation), rather than an actual defect.
- Orders that didn't arrive because the delivery address given at checkout was incorrect or incomplete.
Lost packages
If your tracking shows no movement and the estimated delivery window has clearly passed — generally 30 days from dispatch — get in touch and we'll arrange a reprint or a refund.
How to start any return
Whichever of the above applies, the first step is always the same: email us at hello@lowandbeholdco.com with your order number, and we'll take it from there.
