Cookie Policy

1. Strictly necessary

These keep the site working and can't be switched off, but they only apply to our own team, not to shoppers:

• lbc_admin_session — set only when a member of our team logs into the admin panel to manage orders and products. Expires after 7 days. Ordinary visitors browsing or buying from the shop never have this cookie set.

2. Functional (remembers a preference)

• lbc-ambassador-dismissed — saved in your browser (not a traditional cookie, but the same idea) if you close our ambassador programme pop-up, so it doesn't reappear on every page for the rest of that browsing session. Cleared automatically when you close the tab.
• lbc_cookie_consent — remembers the choice you make in our cookie banner, so we don't ask again every time you visit.

3. Analytics — helping us see what's working

Vercel Analytics (no cookies, no consent needed)

We use Vercel Analytics to see overall traffic — how many people visit, which pages, and roughly where from (country/device/referrer). It's cookieless: it doesn't set anything on your device or track you individually across visits or sites, so it runs for every visitor regardless of your cookie banner choice.

Google Analytics (only if you click "Accept all")

If you accept cookies in our banner, we also load Google Analytics (GA4), which sets its own cookies (typically named things like _ga and _ga_<container-id>) to recognise repeat visits and understand which products people look at versus which ones they actually buy — that's what helps us know which designs are working. If you choose "Necessary only" instead, this script never loads and none of its cookies are set. We don't use Google Analytics for advertising, remarketing, or sharing data with ad networks — it's for our own internal use only. 4. Third-party: Stripe checkout

When you choose to pay, we securely redirect you to a checkout page hosted by Stripe (on a stripe.com domain), rather than collecting your card details ourselves. Stripe sets its own cookies there to process your payment and prevent fraud. Those cookies are governed by Stripe's own cookie policy — not this one, since we don't control that page.

5. What we don't use

We don't run any advertising or social media tracking cookies, and we don't use Google Analytics for remarketing or ad personalisation. Our fonts are also self-hosted rather than pulled live from Google, so no font-related tracking happens either.

6. Managing cookies

You can accept or limit non-essential cookies using the banner shown when you first visit the site — this controls whether Google Analytics loads at all. You can also block or delete cookies at any time through your browser's settings — bear in mind that blocking the strictly necessary cookie above would stop our own team from being able to stay logged into the admin panel, but it won't affect your ability to browse or buy anything as a customer.

7. Changes to this policy

We'll update this page whenever what we actually use changes, and the "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version.
