When did we get so dirty?

When did we get so dirty?

Now that I live near the sea I find myself increasingly frustrated by the amount of litter, especially on the beaches. It is amazing how much it has increased since the holiday season has started as well. I started out wanting to be an environmentalist because of a Leatherback sea turtle project I worked on.

WRc’s Innovation Day – Building a Circular Economy

WRc's Innovation Day - Building a Circular Economy

The sun shone at the start of WRc’s Innovation Day, and even though it snowed later, over 350 people turned out for the annual day of thought-provacation and networking. I was lucky enough to be running the second WRc Circular Economy workshop. This time we focused on building a place; an urban centre, a seaside.

Shaping the Future

Shaping the Future

Had a great day yesterday running the Shaping the Future event at WRc.  We focused on a strategic, place-based approach to the circular economy and explored how utilities and infrastructure could be delivered in a future city. Finding New Homes for the Orange Gear

Crow Scrapstore, Coventry

How Local Children Use Our Rehomed Things

How Local Children Use Our Rehomed Things

In 2014 we had a large number of unusual items to rehome.  Some of these ended up in a local nursery, Honeybees in Leominster, which is run by the charity OAKS.  We’re pleased to see that they made good use of things that might otherwise have been thrown away.  First of all, then turned the.
